Ander Herrera tells Iker Muniain: "Football will miss you"

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has offered support to stricken Iker Muniain.

Athletic Bilbao playmaker Muniain has been ruled out until around November with a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Herrera, who played alongside Muniain for three years at Bilbao prior to his move to Old Trafford last summer, took to Instagram this afternoon to tell his former teammate that "football will miss you".

Muniain has made 41 appearances in all competitions this season.
