Man United injury, suspension list vs. Brentford

Manchester United will be looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they make the trip to Brentford on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils gave up a two-goal lead over Aston Villa on Saturday to share the points in a 2-2 draw, with the club remaining in seventh position in the table.

Ralf Rangnick's side are currently five points behind fourth-placed West Ham United with a game in hand on the Hammers, with the two teams due to meet next weekend.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Man United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Brentford, who are currently 14th in the table.

Paul Pogba remains unavailable for selection due to a thigh problem, and it seems unlikely that the France international will be able to return to the field until at least the start of March.

Eric Bailly

Central defender Eric Bailly is currently representing Ivory Coast at the Africa Cup of Nations so remains unavailable for selection.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Status: Minor doubt Type of injury: Hip Possible return date: January 19 (vs. Brentford)

Cristiano Ronaldo has missed Man United's last two games with a hip problem, but the Portugal international has a strong chance of recovering in time for this match.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka was not a part of the squad against Villa on Saturday through illness, but he could potentially be involved against Brentford.

Marcus Rashford missed out against Villa after suffering a dead leg in training, but the England international could be fit for the fixture with Brentford.
