Ashley Young sits out of England training

Manchester United's Ashley Young misses England's training session after picking up a knock against Norway last weekend.

Manchester United winger Ashley Young was forced to miss training with England today due to injury concerns.

The 26-year-old picked up a knock during the Three Lions' 1-0 win over Norway in a friendly in Oslo on Saturday.

It is believed that the former Aston Villa player was omitted from the session at London Colney as a precautionary measure.

Meanwhile, Birmingham City goalkeeper Jack Butland, who has been called in as third-choice keeper in place of injured John Ruddy is due to join up with Roy Hodgson's squad tomorrow.
