Jonny Evans says that Manchester United will have to be on their guard against more than just Cristiano Ronaldo when they face Real Madrid this week.

Manchester United defender Jonny Evans has insisted that Real Madrid have more match winners than just Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ahead of the Champions League meeting between the two sides in the Bernabeu on Wednesday night, many pundits have backed the Portuguese attacker to haunt his former employers.

However, Northern Ireland international Evans has warned his teammates that there is a lot more to the Spanish champions than Ronaldo.

"[Ronaldo] has adapted his game to suit them. But they don't just have Cristiano Ronaldo who can hurt you," Evans told the club's official website. "They have a lot of different players who can cause you problems.

"He will be the one everyone will be looking to as the man to stop and we have to make sure we keep him quiet."

Ronaldo spent six years as a United player up until his £80m move to Madrid in 2009.
