Toure to resist City exit?

Manchester City could have difficulty offloading Yaya Toure this summer amid reports that the midfielder is unwilling to take a pay cut elsewhere.

The Ivory Coast international has two years remaining on his £220,000-a-week contract and will refuse to play for less, the Daily Mail claims.

Toure has been linked with Italian giants Inter Milan, but his wages are expected to be a potential stumbling block to a deal being completed.

The Serie A club are said to be considering offering Toure a five-year deal to compensate for a wage reduction, but the Ivorian is apparently unwilling to be forced out of the Etihad Stadium.
