Report: Atletico Madrid ace Rodri to decide Manchester City offer this week

Manchester City have reportedly submitted an offer for Rodri and are now awaiting a response from the Atletico Madrid midfielder.

The Spain international is believed to be Pep Guardiola's primary summer transfer target as an alternative option to Fernandinho.

AS claims that City have made a formal bid for the 22-year-old and all that is left to complete the deal is the player's signature.

Rodri is said to have informed the Premier League champions that he will make a decision by the end of the week, with Bayern Munich also believed to have made an approach.

Separate reports have put City's bid in the region of £62m, which would surpass the club-record sum of £60m handed over to sign Riyad Mahrez from Leicester City last year.
