Roberto Mancini admits Emmanuel Adebayor has "no chance" at Manchester City

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has claimed that Emmanuel Adebayor has "no chance" at the club.

The Togo international has been locked in negotiations to join Tottenham Hotspur all summer and Mancini has now admitted that the striker has no future at City.

"He has absolutely no chance of playing this season here," said Mancini.

"So, for us, it's important he can find a good solution."

Adebayor spent last season on loan at White Hart Lane but has so far been unable to make the deal permanent.
