Man City 'determined to sign Bonucci'

Manchester City are reportedly determined to strengthen their defence by signing Leonardo Bonucci from Juventus.

The Citizens are said to be in the market for an experienced centre-back due to concerns over John Stones and Nicolas Otamendi.

Italian outlet Calciomercato claims that Bonucci is Pep Guardiola's primary target this summer, but Juve are not interested in selling the 33-year-old.

Bonucci has enjoyed a solid 2019-20 for the Serie A champions in his second season back at the Allianz Arena, having spent a year with AC Milan in between.

The 95-cap Italy international, who has never played for a club outside of his home country, is under contract with Juve until 2024.
