Joleon Lescott 'not leaving' Manchester City

Joleon Lescott has confirmed that he has "no desire" to leave Manchester City during the January transfer window.

The defender has been linked with a number of sides in recent weeks, including Aston Villa, Queens Park Rangers and former club Everton.

"Despite speculation linking him with several Premier League clubs, Joleon has no desire to leave Manchester City," said a spokesman for the England international.

Lescott featured in Manchester City's 3-0 win over Watford in round three of the FA Cup on Saturday.
