Vincent Kompany agrees £34m Manchester City contract?

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has reportedly agreed to sign a new contract worth £34m.

The 26-year-old Belgium international defender, who made 31 Premier League appearances for the English champions last season, has two years left to run on his current deal.

However, he is now ready to commit his future to City for the next five years in return for a weekly wage of £130,000 per week, according to The Sun.

The deal is expected to be confirmed next week.
