Jorginho agent: 'Difficult to turn down Manchester City'

Joao Santos - the agent of Jorginho - has claimed that an offer for the Napoli midfielder to play for Manchester City would be too good to turn down.

Since the start of 2018, Jorginho has been linked with a switch to the Etihad Stadium and reports have suggested that City have already lodged a big-money offer for the Italy international.

Napoli are yet to accept a bid from the Premier League champions but if progress is made with negotiations, Santos has suggested that Jorginho would likely complete a move to Pep Guardiola's team.

Santos told Tuttomercatoweb: "I know an offer to Napoli has arrived from Manchester City. We're waiting for their response. I don't think they have rejected offers.

"If Napoli find an agreement with City, we will assess everything. Obviously, Manchester City would be very welcome, an opportunity not to be turned down. The coach is one of the best in Europe."

Jorginho has spent the last four-and-a-half years at Napoli, with 154 appearances being made in all competitions.
