Gael Clichy to undergo Eastlands medical

Gael Clichy is understood to be undergoing a medical today ahead of signing to Manchester City.

The Arsenal defender is expected to transfer to the Eastlands club under a £7m deal

The 25-year-old, who has a year remaining on his contract, had also been the subject of interest from Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain.

He joined the Gunners from Cannes in 2003, since which he has made 187 league appearances.
