Edin Dzeko reveals that he intends to leave Manchester City in the future in favour of a return to the Bundesliga.

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has revealed that he intends to return to Germany to play in the Bundelsiga in the future.

The Bosnian, who has had questions raised over his future at the Etihad Stadium due to his failure to keep a starting place in the team, is believed to have sparked interest from Borussia Dortmund.

"I love the Bundesliga and I will return to the Bundesliga," Dzeko told German sports magazine Kicker. "I can just not say when I will return. I have still two years [on my] contract. We will see, what happens."

Dzeko moved to the North-West Premier League club from Wolfsburg in 2011.
