Barcelona reportedly face the prospect of missing out on a deal for Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez this summer as they are struggling to put together a package for the Argentina international.
Martinez has a €111m (£97.1m) release clause in his current deal at San Siro, but it is thought that the Spanish champions will struggle to pay the buy-out fee due to the financial impact of the coronavirus.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Quique Setien's side have been attempting to lower the cost of the deal by offering Inter the choice of a number of first-team players.
However, the report claims that the Italians have not yet been satisfied by any package offered by the Catalan giants, suggesting that they will struggle to sign the centre-forward this summer.
Martinez, who has also been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester City, has scored 16 times in 31 appearances for Antonio Conte's side during the 2019-20 campaign.
The 22-year-old's existing deal at San Siro runs until June 2023.
