Team News: Vincent Kompany and Pablo Zabaleta return for Manchester City

Manchester City recall defenders Vincent Kompany and Pablo Zabaleta for their trip to Burnley.

Manuel Pellegrini has recalled defenders Vincent Kompany and Pablo Zabaleta for today's clash with Burnley at Turf Moor after the duo sat out last week's win over Leicester City.

Fernandinho also returns after illness, though Samir Nasri has to settle for a place on the bench.

Burnley are without midfielder Matt Taylor, who is still recovering from an Achilles problem, though he has featured for the development side in recent weeks.

New signing Fredrik Ulvestad is not part of the match day squad as Sean Dyche continues his policy of not drastically altering his side.

Burnley: Heaton; Trippier, Shackell, Duff, Mee; Barnes, Arfield, Jones, Boyd; Ings, Vokes

Manchester City: Hart; Zabaleta, Kompany, Demichelis, Clichy; Navas, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, Silva; Dzeko, Aguero
