Sports Mole previews Saturday's clash between Newcastle and Man City at the Sports Direct Arena, where the visitors can move a step closer to the title.

Manchester City will be looking to move closer to a first Premier League title when they travel to Newcastle United on Sunday.

Roberto Mancini's men sit top of the table after their significant 1-0 victory over neighbours Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium.

Two wins from their final two games will almost certainly guarantee that the Citizens are crowned champions, but this weekend they face a Newcastle side with an agenda of their own.

The Magpies continued their pursuit of fourth place with a 2-0 win at Chelsea in midweek and must keep picking up results if they are to maintain pace with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the quest for Champions League qualification.

The hosts could welcome back Danny Simpson from injury while Cheick Tiote is expected to feature despite being stretchered off against the Blues.

Mancini may name an unchanged side from the team that beat the Red Devils in Monday's title showdown, although Micah Richards is in contention to replace Pablo Zabaleta at right back.

Current form:

Newcastle: WLWWWW
Man City: WWWWLD

Possible lineups:

Newcastle: Krul; Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Santon; Gutierrez, Cabye, Tiote, Ben Arfa; Ba, Cisse

Man City: Hart; Richards, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy; Barry, Yaya Toure, Nasri, Silva; Aguero, Tevez

Sports Mole says: 2-0
