Sunday's Premier League predictions including Everton vs. Manchester City

Brentford vs. West Ham (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Fresh from obtaining a first-leg advantage in their Europa Conference League semi-final with AZ Alkmaar, West Ham United return to Premier League action against London rivals Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Hammers edged past Dutch powerhouses AZ 2-1 at the London Stadium on Thursday, while the Bees' most recent encounter ended in a 1-0 loss to Liverpool at Anfield.

We say: Brentford 1-0 West Ham United

With jellied legs from their midweek exertions and fresh concerns over Antonio's fitness, West Ham may come up short against a Brentford side that are seldom outclassed on their own patch.

The Bees gave Liverpool a good run for their money at Anfield, and with West Ham nearly home and dry in the Premier League, the result of this game should pale into insignificance for Moyes's men as they prioritise their continental commitments.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Everton vs. Man City (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Seeking to somehow replicate their Bank Holiday Monday mauling of Brighton & Hove Albion, Everton return to a buoyant Goodison Park to host Premier League champions Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

Sean Dyche's side stunned the footballing landscape by crushing Brighton 5-1 earlier this week, before the visitors drew 1-1 with Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.

We say: Everton 1-2 Manchester City

With the infamous 'Pep roulette' sure to come into play, an Everton side sitting on cloud nine can make this a much closer affair than it would initially appear to be on paper, especially with Dyche's side finding the back of the net on a consistent basis.

Fond memories of December's Etihad draw will also serve the Toffees well, but Guardiola can call upon the cavalry if things go a bit pear-shaped, and a Man City side still involved in a two-horse title race should eke out a hard-fought win to keep Arsenal at bay.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Arsenal vs. Brighton (Sunday, 4.30pm)

On the back of contrasting results in the extraordinary Bank Holiday gameweek, title challengers Arsenal welcome European contenders Brighton & Hove Albion to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta's side assured themselves of a top-two finish by seeing off Newcastle United 2-0 last weekend, while the Seagulls suffered a sensational 5-1 beating at the hands of Everton.

We say: Arsenal 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

Without Saliba's passing contributions from the back or Zinchenko's line-breaking abilities, Arsenal's build-up play will suffer greatly, and the Emirates has been a happy hunting ground for Brighton in recent memory.

A team refresh should do the shell-shocked Seagulls the world of good, but De Zerbi is dealing with his own untimely injury crisis, and a Brighton team who lack a consistent formula for success on the road should fall short at the Emirates as Arsenal keep the title fight going.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
