Carlos Tevez benched for Argentina, Albania friendly

Carlos Tevez has been benched for Argentina's friendly against Albania this evening.

The Man City skipper was shunned by Sergio Batista in favour of striking trio Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

The game is Argentina's last before the Copa America begins in a fortnight.

Earlier today, Tevez's agent said that speculation about a move out of Eastlands would be "sorted out" in the next week when the striker makes a decision about his future.

Juventus are reportedly planning to increase their bid of £20 million, which was rejected earlier this month.
