Carlos Tevez arrives in Manchester

Manchester City's Carlos Tevez has arrived back in England following his two-month spell in his native Argentina.

The striker, who was greeted by a large number of photographers at Manchester Airport, is expected to travel to a hotel before heading to City's training ground this evening for a series of fitness tests.

Tevez's return has gone some way to bringing an end to a saga that has stretched back almost five months following the Argentine's fall-out with City manager Roberto Mancini during a Champions League at Bayern Munich.

The pair are not expected to meet until tomorrow morning.
