Ole Gunnar Solskjaer "not daunted" by Manchester City

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is confident that his side have the ability to hurt Manchester City on Saturday.

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted that he will not have any fear when his side travel to Manchester City on Saturday in the Premier League.

City have won all of their games at the Etihad Stadium so far this season, but Solskjaer said that with a bit of luck there is no reason why his side cannot end that run.

"We are not daunted by the challenge, we are relishing it," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying. "When you go to places like the Etihad and Old Trafford you are going to be tested against some of the best players in the world, but we have got our own standards to adhere to.

"You need to ride your luck, but bigger surprises have happened in the world of football, so you have to go up there with the mindset of having a go and taking something from the game.

"We want to be a top 10 club so you have got to go to these places and take something out of the game. We are looking at how we can hurt them."

Cardiff are currently 18th in the Premier League.
