Manchester City midfielder David Silva has said that he plans to commit his immediate future to the club, despite interest from some European giants.
The Spanish star played a significant part in opening up Manchester United in City's 6-1 win over their rivals, a game in which he also contributed to the scoreline with a late goal.
The 25-year-old's performance in the Premier League so far is rumoured to have attracted the interest of big-name clubs in Europe, but Silva insists that he is happy at City.
"City believed in me and I'm very well here," Silva said.
"Real Madrid and Barcelona are definitely two great clubs but I hope to stay in Manchester for many years."
City currently top the Premier League table with a five-point lead.
