David Silva happy with return to Manchester City starting lineup

David Silva reveals his delight at being recalled to the Manchester City starting lineup.

David Silva has expressed his delight at returning to the Manchester City starting lineup against Everton on Saturday.

The Spain international midfielder was starting for the first time since the end of August and was pleased he could help his side to a 3-1 victory after recent defeats to Aston Villa and Bayern Munich.

"I'm very happy to play again and I'm happy for the team because we needed to win today and now we have to keep going," he told the club's official website.

"We need to improve to reach the top of the table but I think we will continue to get better as we go along."

Manchester City moved up to third in the Premier League table after today's win.
