Manchester City full-back Micah Richards believes that the North West side will struggle to keep their place as Premier League champions.
Roberto Mancini's side ended 44 years of hurt for the City supporters when they clinched the trophy in the dying seconds of the season in May.
While the blue half of Manchester managed to claim title glory in dramatic fashion, Richards is not convinced that he and his teammates will stroll through the campaign.
"I don't think it's going to be easy," Richards told Sky Sports News. "People say we're going to go and walk the title but I don't think that's the case.
"I see everyone as big threats really. Obviously Spurs have got a new manager and players will be going there to improve and show people what they can do. Manchester United as usual, Chelsea have spent some decent money in the summer, so they'll be looking. Arsenal always are about and Liverpool."
Meanwhile, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted that the Red Devils will put all their focus into winning back the Premier League title this season.
