Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has said that his current form is the highest level he has performed at so far in his career.
Sterling scored his 17th goal of the season to help City to a 1-0 victory over Newcastle United on Wednesday night, 13 of which have come in the Premier League to leave him behind only Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah in the top-scorers list.
This season is already comfortably Sterling's most prolific in front of goal, and the 23-year-old acknowledged that he is currently in the form of his life.
Asked whether he is performing at his all-time highest level, Sterling told Man City's official website: "Most definitely, in terms of goals.
"I've probably had a better season dribbling but this is the most efficient I've been... there's no point dribbling if you're not helping the team.
"Scoring is something I've always wanted to do and something I'm trying to improve on... I'm happy to have been able to bring that and hopefully, it will carry on."
Sterling's goals have won City 11 points so far this season, which is the most of any player in the Premier League.
