Joleon Lescott has revealed that he will miss Manchester City's trip to Swansea City this afternoon with an "abductor injury".
The defender is believed to have sustained the complaint during his side's 1-0 Europa League loss to Sporting Lisbon last Thursday.
Despite being absent for today's fixture, the England international is hopeful of making a return for the return leg against the Portuguese club later this week.
"Will be supporting from the stands today, an abductor injury is keeping me out hopefully be fit for Thursday," the 29-year-old wrote on Twitter.
Stefan Savic has taken Lescott's place in the starting lineup.
