City head to Malaysia

Manchester City will head to Malaysia for the first time in preparation for the 2012-13 campaign.

City will play a friendly tie against a Malaysia XI on July 30 in the 90,000-capacity Bukit Kalil Stadium.

Malaysian FA deputy president Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah said: "We are very honoured to be hosting Manchester City, as we are the only South East Asian country given this opportunity."

They are the second Premier League side to commit to the trip, with Arsenal also set to visit the country.
