Gareth Barry has described Manchester City's title-winning season in the Premier League as his "best ever".
The Englishman was a regular feature in Roberto Mancini's side throughout the campaign, featuring in 33 of the 38 league games.
"It's definitely been my best season ever," the 31-year-old told The Sun on Sunday. "The amount of games I've managed to get, considering the squad we've got, has been brilliant.
"I've been happy with my level of performance and I'm delighted with the way it's gone."
Barry added that he feels right at home in Mancini's 4-2-3-1 formation, saying: "This is the perfect club for me. The formation the manager likes to play, with me as one of two holding midfielders, suits me - even though I only scored one goal this season.
"I feel I can play on until my mid-30s. Hopefully, that will be at City."
Barry was named in England's 23-man Euro 2012 squad and will be hoping for a place in Roy Hodgson's XI in Ukraine and Poland.
