Sergio Aguero has revealed that he wants to emulate the success of his famous father-in-law, Diego Maradona.
Speaking ahead of Manchester City's Champions League clash with Napoli tonight, Aguero said that he wants to be the best player in the world.
"It's my dream to look at what Maradona did for Napoli and do the same for Manchester City," the 23-year-old said. "He has told me everything about Napoli and what they did when he was here.
"I also saw on TV what he did for Napoli and how important he was for the club.
"There's no doubt Messi is currently the best player in the world. He's won the Balon d'Or the last two years.
"But it is my big dream too to reach such a level and I work every day with the aim of winning that trophy one day so I can say, 'Yes, I am the best player in the world.'"
Maradona spent seven years with the southern Italian club, winning two Serie A titles, the UEFA Cup and the Coppa Italia.
