Team News: Manchester City make six changes for Crystal Palace, Patrick Bamford starts

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini makes six changes for his side's League Cup tie with Crystal Palace, as Nigerian youngster Kelechi Iheanacho starts up front.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has made six changes from the side that drew 0-0 with Manchester United on Sunday for this evening's League Cup tie with Crystal Palace.

Nigerian youngster Kelechi Iheanacho starts up front alongside Wilfried Bony, while Jesus Navas returns on the wing.

Martin Demichelis and Eliaquim Mangala replace Vincent Kompany and Nicolas Otamendi in defence, while Pablo Zabaleta returns at right-back.

Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero comes in for Joe Hart, who starts on the bench alongside youngsters Brandon Barker and Patrick Roberts.

Palace have also made six changes for tonight's clash following their 1-0 defeat by Leicester City at the weekend, as Damien Delaney replaces Brede Hangeland in defence.

Patrick Bamford starts up front for the Eagles, while Wilfried Zaha and Jordan Mutch come in behind the on-loan Chelsea striker.

Australian international Mile Jedinak and Joe Ledley replace James McArthur and Yohan Cabaye in midfield.
