Manchester City's Edin Dzeko targets League Cup triumph

Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has said that he and his teammates are determined to win the League Cup this season.

The 27-year-old scored twice against Leicester City as Manuel Pellegrini's side won their quarter-final tie 3-1 at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.

"From the first minute we tried to score first and we did it in the first half - scoring twice," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"It's good to win every cup. We are in the semi-final and our target is to win it. There are big teams left but we don't care who we play."

Aleksandar Kolarov was also on target for City against Leicester.
