Manchester City will reportedly take their time when it comes to reintroducing Kevin De Bruyne to the team.
De Bruyne has only featured on five occasions for City this term, having suffered two separate knee injuries since the start of the 2018-19 campaign.
The Belgium international last played against Fulham at the start of this month, but it had been thought that the attacker would return for the clash with Bournemouth this weekend.
However, according to The Telegraph, City will play it safe when it comes to the 27-year-old, and he could therefore miss the key clash with Chelsea on December 8 before returning for the festive matches.
De Bruyne scored 12 times and registered 21 assists in 52 appearances for City last season.
