Sergio Aguero is back in Manchester City's starting lineup for their Champions League trip to Napoli.

Sergio Aguero is back in Manchester City's starting lineup for their Champions League trip to Napoli this evening.

The striker was relegated to the bench for City's dramatic 3-2 victory at West Bromwich Albion but is named from the off tonight as he looks to become the club's all-time leading goalscorer.

Pep Guardiola makes four changes in total from the weekend, with Raheem Sterling also handed a start up front alongside Aguero and Leroy Sane as both Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva drop down to the bench.

David Silva is also made to start the game from the dugout, with skipper duties for the night instead handed to goalkeeper Ederson.

Ilkay Gundogan is in for Silva, tasked with marshalling the midfield alongside Fernandinho and Kevin De Bruyne.

There is also one change on the right of the back four, with Danilo replacing Kyle Walker and linking up with John Stones, Nicolas Otamendi and Fabian Delph.

Napoli, meanwhile, are able to name a full-strength attacking lineup as they look to avenge their 2-1 defeat in the reverse last month.

The Serie A leaders - unbeaten in the domestic league this season - have Jose Callejon, Dries Mertens and Lorenzo Insigne up front, while Allan, Jorginho and Marek Hamsik are in midfield.

Maurizio Sarri's two changes from the 3-1 win over Sassuolo both come in defence, with Elseid Hysaj and Kalidou Koulibaly in for Christian Maggio and Vlad Chiriches.

Raul Albiol and Faouzi Ghoulam both keep their spots in the back four, while Pepe Reina has the gloves.

Napoli: Reina; Hysaj, Koulibaly, Albiol, Ghoulam; Allan, Jorginho, Hamsik; Callejon, Mertens, Insigne
Subs: Sepe, May, Chiriches, Rog, Diawara, Zielinski, Ounas

Manchester City: Ederson; Danilo, Stones, Otamendi, Delph; De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Gundogan; Sterling, Aguero, Sane
Subs: Bravo, Silva, Bernardo, Jesus, Walker, Mangala, Yaya Toure
