Roberto Mancini says that Manchester City do not have a morale problem after being knocked out of Europe.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has insisted that his side do not have any morale problems after their exit from Europe.

The Premier League champions finished bottom of Group D in the Champions League and therefore failed to earn a spot in the Europa League.

However, the Italian is adamant that his side will be in the right frame of mind for their Manchester derby on Sunday.

"I don't think there will be a problem with morale," said Mancini.

"We didn't lose the Champions League tonight - it's clear that tonight we lost the chance to qualify for the Europa League.

"But I think that after that, it is important that we only think about the derby. We have five days to recover our strength, and then I don't think there will be a problem."
