Pep Guardiola unfazed by prospect of drawing Manchester City or Barcelona

Bayern coach Pep Guardiola does not care if his side are paired with future employers Manchester City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Pep Guardiola has said that he does not mind if Bayern Munich meet future club Manchester City or former side Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-finals.

The Sky Blues, whom Guardiola will join this summer, beat Dynamo Kiev in the last 16, while the Catalans and reigning champions smashed Arsenal 5-1 on aggregate.

"If you want to reach the semi-finals then you have to be ready to beat any opponent," Guardiola, who spent four years at Camp Nou, winning Europe's top prize on two occasions, is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"But we are there. We made it. A minute later and we would have been out."

Thomas Muller struck a 90th-minute equaliser to hold Juventus to a 2-2 draw last night and force extra time at the Allianz Arena.

Thiago Alcantara and Kingsley Coman then netted during the additional 30-minute period to seal a 6-4 aggregate victory.
