Luis Enrique: 'Manchester City tie will be tough'

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique believes that Manchester City will provide a 'difficult test' in the last-16 stage of the Champions League.

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has branded Manchester City "a tough and complicated rival" after the two sides were paired together in the last-16 stage of the Champions League.

The clash between the champions of England and Catalan outfit is one of the standout meetings in this season's draw, but Enrique is confident that his side will advance.

"They will be a tough and complicated rival. In principal, one of the toughest in the draw and an aspirant to winning the Champions League," Enrique told reporters at a press conference.

"We'll have to analyse our rival in detail and bearing in mind the tie is in February, that many things can change. Right now they look a dangerous opponent, although maybe later things will be different. When the time comes, we'll evaluate them fully."

City have made the knockout stage of the Champions League for just the second time in their history.
