Park Joo-Hoo signs for Mainz 05

Bundesliga side Mainz 05 have signed Korean international Park Joo-Hoo from Swiss side Basel for an undisclosed fee.

Park has agreed terms on a two-year contract and Mainz coach Thomas Tuchel said that the left-back will provide valuable experience to his team.

"Joo-Ho Park is a technically and tactically accomplished player, who has amassed an impressive amount of experience in international football," Bundesliga.com quotes Tuchel as saying.

"He was a mainstay of the Basel team on the left side of defence and we're delighted he can now prove his quality with us."

Park has won 11 caps for Korea.
