Luke Rooney signs new Luton Town deal

Winger Luke Rooney extends his contract with League Two outfit Luton Town until the end of the season.

Luke Rooney has agreed a new contract with League Two side Luton Town.

The 24-year-old originally signed a six-month deal with the Hatters during the summer following his departure from Maidstone United.

Now, though, the winger has committed his immediate future to Kenilworth Road until the end of the season.

Rooney has scored five goals in his 12 appearances for Luton this term.

Meanwhile, the club have also confirmed the one-month loan signing of Jayden Stockley from Championship outfit Bournemouth.
