Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is reportedly not ready to make a decision on his future at Anfield.
Having won the Premier League and Champions League during his four-and-a-half-year spell on Merseyside, Wijnaldum is currently considering whether to take on a new challenge.
Aware that the Netherlands international can speak to foreign clubs in January, Liverpool had hoped to have found a resolution with the 30-year-old before the end of the year.
However, The Guardian claims that Wijnaldum has informed club officials that he wants more time to assess his next move.
The report says that the playmaker will not hold any discussions with other teams until he has spoken with his current employers.
If Wijnaldum does not pen fresh terms at Liverpool, Barcelona and Inter Milan are regarded as two potential destinations.
