Mohamed Salah wants Daniele De Rossi at Liverpool

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has said that it would be "beautiful" to see Daniele De Rossi sign for a Premier League club.

De Rossi has spent his entire professional career at Roma, but the 35-year-old will end his long-term association with the Italian giants in the summer.

The Italian will not be short of offers during the transfer window, and former teammate Salah has suggested that he would like to see the midfielder at Anfield.

Salah told Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio: "He is a legend of the club and of Italian football, not just because he is a great friend of mine.

"A future for him in the Premier League? It would be beautiful, but I don't know if it's possible. It would be pleasing for me to play with him again, he is an optimal player."

Manchester City are allegedly ready to hand a coaching role to De Rossi.
