Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed his desire to keep centre-back Daniel Agger at Liverpool, despite a reported pursuit from Manchester City.
City are understood not to have matched Liverpool's asking price for the Danish international, but Rodgers has admitted that every player has his price.
"I can't see anything at this stage, to be honest," Rodgers said. "Agger is not a player that I want to lose and I never thought I was going to lose him.
"Like every player in the group, if someone comes in with a big, big offer then that might be out of my hands in relation to the club and where it is at with finances, but I wouldn't see us losing Daniel."
Agger signed for Liverpool from Brondby in 2006.
