Report: Liverpool interested in Dani Carvajal

Liverpool have reportedly spoken to Real Madrid ahead of a potential move for Dani Carvajal during this summer's transfer window.

The right-back, who has made 41 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga side this season, has also been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

However, Spanish publication AS claims that Brendan Rodgers is prepared to battle with United to secure the defender's signature.

The Spanish international joined Real in 2013 after a brief spell with Bayer Leverkusen.
