Report: Lazio want Mamadou Sakho

Lazio are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho this summer.

The French international moved to Anfield from Paris Saint-Germain in 2013, but has largely struggled to produce his best form in the Premier League.

According to La Lazio Siamo Noi, Lazio are keen on bringing the centre-back to Italy on an initial loan, with the view to a permanent deal next summer.

The same report has claimed that Sakho's agent will meet with the Serie A club this week to discuss a possible move.

Sakho, who is currently on Liverpool's pre-season tour of Australia, still has two years left to run on his current contract.
