Report: Joe Cole in West Ham United talks

Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is reportedly in talks with West Ham United over a move to his former club.

The 31-year-old is expected to leave Anfield during the January transfer window as he struggles to make an impact under manager Brendan Rodgers.

Queens Park Rangers are also thought to be interested in Cole.

However, it would appear that West Ham are leading the chase to land the former England international on a permanent deal, according to reports.

Cole spent the first five years of his career with West Ham before he moved to Chelsea in 2003.
