David N’Gog Sunderland move stalled by wage demands

David N’Gog’s transfer to Sunderland is being hindered by his salary expectations.

The Liverpool striker is expected to move to the Stadium of Light after the clubs struck a deal thought to be worth £5m.

However, the French player has yet to agree personal terms and is insisting that Steve Bruce’s club match the salary he has enjoyed at Anfield, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Reds acquired the 22-year-old from Paris Saint-Germain in 2008 for £1.4m.
