Real Madrid are reportedly willing to sell Marco Asensio during the summer transfer window in order to fund a move for Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar.

Real Madrid have reportedly decided that they are willing to sell Marco Asensio during the summer transfer window.

Asensio only penned a new long-term contract in September, and the playmaker is currently regarded as one of the top prospects in European football.

However, in recent months, Real are said to have shown an interest in Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar and it appears that the pursuit of the Brazil international is taking priority.

According to Sport, president Florentino Perez has decided that he is prepared to sell Asensio in order to raise the funds to bring Neymar to the Bernabeu.

The report suggests that PSG will likely demand in excess of €300m (£264m) for the 26-year-old, while clubs interested in Asensio could be prepared to pay in the region of £150m.

Liverpool are allegedly willing to pay big in order to secure the services of Asensio, who has already scored 21 goals in 91 appearances for Real in all competitions.
