Liverpool's Ben Woodburn 'wanted on loan'

Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn is a loan target for Championship duo Norwich City and Sheffield United, according to a report.

Liverpool teenager Ben Woodburn is reportedly a loan target for Championship duo Norwich City and Sheffield United ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

Woodburn, 18, played 45 minutes of Liverpool's 7-0 win over Chester FC in Saturday's pre-season friendly at the Deva Stadium.

The seven-time Wales international came through the youth system at Anfield, and has already made 11 first-team appearances for the Merseyside giants.

According to Goal.com, Championship duo Norwich and Sheffield United have already approached Liverpool over a move, but the pair were informed that Woodburn would be playing in his club's next three domestic friendlies before a decision is made.

Woodburn only made one Premier League appearances for the Reds last term.
