Liverpool 'would have to pay £103m for Enzo Fernandez'

Enzo Fernandez will reportedly only leave Benfica if his €120m (£103m) release clause is met by an interested club.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are reported to be tracking Fernandez's progress and have made contact with his representatives to register their interest.

Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United are also rumoured to be interested.

90min reports that the Portuguese club have told the player's representatives that the release clause must be met if the Argentine is to leave the Estadio da Luz.

That would represent a significant profit on the €18m (£15.7m) that the club spent on the 21-year-old to bring him to Lisbon from River Plate in June last year.

The player is understood to be fully focused on the World Cup final with his national team as they prepare to face France in Sunday's showpiece.

A good performance at the Lusail Stadium could win Fernandez the best young player award at the tournament and make that list of potential suitors even longer.
