Liverpool, Wolverhampton Wanderers to miss out on Anderson Talisca

Liverpool, Wolves miss out on Talisca

Besiktas president Fikret Orman has said that Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca will join the Turkish giants before the end of the transfer window.

Throughout the summer, the Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move to either Liverpool or Wolverhampton Wanderers and it had previously been suggested that the Championship outfit had won the race for his signature.

However, after the move was delayed due to work permit issues and the birth of his child, Besiktas registered an interest in the player and it appears that they are close to confirming the signing of the 22-year-old.

Orman is quoted by Turkish-Football.com as saying: "Talisca will join us next week, the transfer went ahead like planned."

Talisca will allegedly join Besiktas on a two-year loan deal.
