Liverpool watch Aymen Abdennour?

Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Toulouse defender Aymen Abdennour.

The Tunisian, 23, who can operate either at left-back or centre-half, has made 28 appearances in Ligue 1 this season.

His performances have attracted attention from West Ham United, Newcastle United and Barcelona in recent months.

According to the Daily Mail, Brendan Rodgers has now ordered club scouts to watch Abdennour this weekend to determine whether he is worthy of a £6m bid.

Abdennour has been capped 26 times at senior international level.
