Liverpool line up Romelu Lukaku deal?

Liverpool to pounce for Lukaku?

Liverpool are lining up a deal to bring Chelsea frontman Romelu Lukaku to Anfield, according to reports.

The 21-year-old striker spent last season on loan at Liverpool's Merseyside rivals Everton, where he scored 16 goals in 33 appearances, before teaming up with Belgium's World Cup squad.

While Liverpool are seemingly on the brink of bringing fellow Belgian Divock Origi to the club, The Express reports that Brendan Rodgers could use a significant chunk of the £75m received from the sale of Luis Suarez to fund a move for Lukaku.

Liverpool have already wrapped up a £25m deal to bring Adam Lallana to Anfield, while fellow former-Saint Rickie Lambert arrived for £4m. Emre Can is Liverpool's third summer recruit, having completed a £10m move from Bayer Leverkusen.
